Vineyards: The grapes come from the highest parts of our oldest vineyards, around the villages of Samaniego, Laguardia, and Leza, at an altitude of 580 metres above sea level. Poor calcareous/clay soil, on south facing slopes. The subsoil is made up of various layers of white rock.
Climate: Mediterranean climate with a strong Atlantic influence.

The vineyards are between 30 - 80 years old.

Goblet pruning.
Production: 6,300 Kg/hectare. Hand harvested and taken to the winery in small trailer loasds between 21th and 24 th September.
Wine-making Process: The grapes are destemmed and pressed mechanically.
5 hours low temperature maceration.
The grape must fermented on the lees in stainless in stainless steel vats for 28 days at 15-16ºC.
Cold stabilisation.
Filtered for tartaric stabilisation processes.
The wine is stored in vats until it is bottled.
Tasting Notes:
A pale yet lively yellow, with green reflective tinges in the light.
A fresh fruity bouquet evoking green apples and freshly cut grass, with elegant aromas typical of the Viura and Malvasía grape types. Very refreshing and well balanced on tasting, full flavoured, satisfying and lingering on the palate. There is an excellent balance of flavours, fruity intensity, and warmth.
